Update On Bo Dallas’ Status With The WWE

Bo Dallas returned to the WWE in the fall of 2022. He came back as part of a storyline with his late brother Bray Wyatt, donning a new character by the name of Uncle Howdy. Since his brother’s illness and passing, he’s not been on television. So, what is Bo’s official status with the company?

Update On Bo Dallas’ Status With The WWE

According to PWInsider, Dallas, whose real name is Taylor Rotunda, is still under contract with the WWE. This is the case, despite his lengthy absence from television.

The WWE never revealed to the audience that Uncle Howdy was being played by Bo Dallas. However, backstage reports indicate so.

In fact, it was never officially revealed to the WWE Universe that Bo and Bray were brothers. Still, most fans knew that Dallas was Wyatt’s younger brother.

Following Bray’s passing in August 2023, reports surfaced that WWE was planning on having a Wyatt versus Uncle Howdy match at some point. While Dallas is still under contract, it’s unclear if he’ll be used at any point in the future, which is understandable.

Losing a family member is never easy. However, Bray’s passing was so sudden and quite tragic considering his age, and the family he left behind.

Plus, Dallas’s 2022 return coincided with his brother’s. He may never want to officially return to in-ring action, but there may be another role or area within the company he can eventually participate in.

WWE Career Of

Bo’s first run with the WWE was from 2008 to 2021. During his time, he was an NXT Champion, held one-half of the RAW Tag Titles with Curtis Axel, and was a 24/7 Champion.

Dallas was seen at the 2023 Royal Rumble during the match between Bray and LA Knight. Wyatt defeated Knight, and the two kept fighting after the bout.

Uncle Howdy appeared and jumped onto Knight, which led to a minor explosion. There had been a plan for a Bobby Lashley-Bray Wyatt feud for WrestleMania 39 but didn’t happen due to Wyatt’s illness.

So, will we see a shift in the WWE status of Bo Dallas.
