Bo Dallas, whose real name is Taylor Rotunda, has had a hard few months as he continues to mourn the loss of his brother, WWE superstar Bray Wyatt. A new report notes that he likely will not return to the company.
Bo Dallas Will Not Likely Make A WWE Comeback
While Taylor hadn’t been in a WWE match since 2019, he was the figure behind the Uncle Howdy character. Of course, Howdy was locked in an interesting storyline angle upon Bray Wyatt’s return to the company in the fall of 2022.
In March of this year, both Wyatt and Howdy were taken off WWE TV as Bray was dealing with a medical issue. Sadly, the arc was placed on hold as Wyatt was in recovery.

The wrestling world was completely stunned when news about Bray Wyatt’s, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, passing surfaced. Family, friends, colleagues, loved ones, and fans continue to honor his legacy as they deal with this tragic loss.
Still, many fans have wondered about Uncle Howdy, the character, his storyline, and Taylor, moving forward. What is his status with the WWE?
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio talked about this situation during a recent show. He notes that he believes the talent is done.
He goes on to say the only reason Taylor was being used in the storyline was as a favor to Wyatt. Meltzer says while it’s possible the WWE could use him; he doesn’t expect him to be back.
Considering the circumstances, it makes complete sense. He may not ever want to step in that ring again, and only time will tell.
Taylor began his wrestling career in the WWE, in 2008 and entered the newly branded NXT in 2012. He’d jump onto the main roster in 2014.
During his time with the WWE, he became a RAW tag team champion, 24/7 champion, and held the NXT title. Rotunda asked for time off in late 2019 and suffered a neck injury, preventing him from in-ring competition, and was later released in April 2021.
