How Unfinished Bray Wyatt And Uncle Howdy Story Was To End
The pro wrestling world suffered a major loss as Bray Wyatt passed away at only 36 years old. He leaves behind four children, an ex-wife and fiancée.
His passing left many shocked as he was recently cleared to return. His death is currently listed as a heart attack with Covid playing a role.
Wyatt was last spotted on WWE TV as he started a feud with Bobby Lashley. They were to meet at WrestleMania 39, but the angle was dropped rather quickly as Wyatt was not medically cleared.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how WWE wanted to book Wyatt vs. Uncle Howdy. Unfortunately, the Uncle Howdy gimmick did not catch-on with fans like they hoped.
There is no word if WWE will continue using Uncle Howdy. Some have called for WWE to keep Wyatt’s memory going by having Uncle Howdy finish whatever was planned.
For those unaware, Bo Dallas, the real-life brother of Bray, was under the mask. He was released from WWE before returning almost 12 months ago.
Wyatt only wrestled once during his second WWE stint. He defeated LA Knight at the Royal Rumble in January, in a match that was heavily criticized.
Bray Wyatt will always be considered one of the brightest minds in the business. He was truly ahead of his time.
We might never know how Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy would be built or even explained. It was an interesting angle that left more questions than answers.
