For a Goldberg possible final match event from Israel, there is talk, if they book the former champion, that it will also feature WWE Hall of Famers.
Goldberg Possible Final Match Event Features Top WWE Names
Goldberg is looking for one final match before officially retiring from professional wrestling. It does not look like it will happen with WWE, so he is searching elsewhere.
Tony Khan is interested in signing Goldberg. And, there is a company in Israel that also seems ready to hold a Goldberg possible final match event.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall how the company in Israel has recently added some big names. Sting, RVD, Chris Masters and John Morrison are all now set for an upcoming show.
Goldberg’s final WWE run was mixed with highs and lows. He won championship gold and even holds the honor of pinning Brock Lesnar in about 90 seconds.
Outside of one win, he lost several times in a row to the likes of Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns. His final WWE match was losing to Reigns at the Elimination Chamber in 2022.
At the end of last year, Goldberg’s WWE contract expired and it was not renewed. Based off some interviews, Goldberg seems a bit annoyed Vince McMahon did not book him in a farewell match.
Goldberg will forever be remembered as the only wrestler WCW organically created to be in the main event picture. And, they did a great job at making him a star.
He was never the best wrestler, but Goldberg was able to wow fans with a handful of moves. At 56 years old, if he does wrestle, it should be in retirement match.
So, if a Goldberg possible final match event would also have WWE Hall of Famers present, does it increase the odds of fans wanting to tune in?
