It has been awhile since Big E last wrestled, but he seems to be waiting on 1 more okay from the doctors before making a WWE in-ring return.

Back on March 11, 2022, the wresting world was thrown for a loop. Big E was in wrestling on SmackDown on a bump on the outside. He landed on his neck and bounced. Before SmackDown concluded, we learned of a broken neck. Thankfully, he was not paralyzed as he could move his fingers and toes. That was over two years ago and Big E is yet to be cleared.
While speaking to Chris Vannini on Getting Over, Big E revealed he is waiting on clearance of the C1 in his neck. “Now we’re at two years and running since I broke my neck,” said Big E. “I broke my C1 in two places; my C6 as well. I feel great and have no issues with pain, no issues with discomfort, weakness, any of those things. My strength is great. The only issue is my C1 is healing fibrously, which is great for normal day-to-day life, but it’s not turning into new bone and ossifying yet. They’re not going to clear me until that happens. It’s obviously a very important bone.”
Big E Can Only Wait Over In-Ring Return

He continued how this is simply a waiting game with no timeframe for a possible return. He added how went to Cancun last month, to use stem cells to help. It is still too early to know how that went. Otherwise, he closed about feeling great. Honestly, I do not see him ever being cleared to wrestle again. He is lucky to be able to walk without pain.
Before the possible career-ender, the New Day member was having one of the better runs of his WWE career. He captured Money in the Bank and successfully cashed-in on Bobby Lashley. A great moment for Big E as the title run was overdue. So, will Big E ever be cleared for a WWE in-ring return?
