Bianca Belair Is Taking A Break From WWE

Summer is wrapping up, but one WWE superstar is just now getting a break. And, it will not be for that long.

Bianca Belair was written off WWE TV as she takes some time away according to Fightful’s Sean Sapp.

He continued how she planned on taking time off and WWE was aware. Therefore, they ran an injury angle to explain her absence.

As for time away, the length is not known. The belief is either it will be short, and around a month, or could last several months.

During the August 18th episode of SmackDown, Belair successfully teamed with Charlotte Flair. Then, backstage, Damage CTRL attacked Belair.

Hence, this was the perfect time to make a change as Bianca Belair is taking a break from WWE.

In the angle, they focused on the knee. WWE has been selling that the former champion has been working with a bum knee since SummerSlam.

Within a short few years, Belair has been presented as a future star of the women’s division. She already has a list of accomplishments ranging from titles to making hostly.

Belair held the WWE Women’s Championship twice and was also the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Plus, toss in winner of the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble Match and being part of the first WrestleMania main event to feature African American women into the history books.

And, do not forget her first reign lasted a record 420 days. Not bad for someone who was never promoted as a top star when part of the NXT brand.

For working nonstop, Belair certainly deserves a break. Her absence will allow others to be better presented on TV while she is away.
