WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill Vs Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn Vs Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark

First, props to Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn for walking away as the new Women’s Tag Team Champions infront of the Scottish crowd. If you follow their careers before WWE, Saturday was just epic.

As for the match, it became a mess towards the end. Lots of missed spots and maybe some injuries too as a result.

I figured Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill would hold those belts until the fall. WWE went a different direction and maybe the former champions will battle against each other. Grade: B-

WWE Women’s Championship: Bayley Vs Piper Niven

Piper Niven was another local who was looking to capitalize. Although, Baylay retained and now faces Queen of the Ring winner, Nia Jax, at SummerSlam.

Early in the match Chelsea Green got tossed by the referee, before returning with a lucha mask. She did not play a major role in the outcome, but Green created plenty of laughs.

Even though Niven lost, you have to give her credit. She is not featured often on premium live events and made sure Clash At The Castle counted. Grade: B

World Heavyweight Championship: Damian Priest Vs Drew McIntyre

What a wild ride for Drew McIntyre. He won the WWE Championship twice, but there were no fans present.

He won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, only for Damian Priest to cash-in Money in the Bank thanks to CM Punk. Finally, after almost two years ago, he could not get the better of Roman Reigns from Wales.

Such a strange dynamic as McIntyre is a heel anywhere in the world except for Scotland. WWE teased plenty of future matches and I hope Priest’s leg is okay after getting tangled on the top rope; as Scotland might be rioting about McIntyre losing. Grade: B+

I Quit Match For The Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes Vs AJ Styles

The I Quit Match is one of the few gimmicks WWE has not oversaturated. After several months, Cody Rhodes got the better of AJ Styles and passion was a major factor.

We saw both men bleed, which is really rare nowadays in WWE. Overall, great spots from beginning to end.

Styles quitting out of fear was not how I was expected WWE to end the several month long feud. Rhodes did not get to the back before The Bloodline attacked, making me think Roman Reigns is not far behind. Grade: A-

Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn Vs Chad Gable

We have seen these two wrestle before and produce an excellent match. Clash At The Castle was no different from Sami Zayn or Chad Gable.

We learned Gable re-signed with WWE shortly before the show, so the odds of a title change likely increased on betting sites. There were several moments were it looked like the match was over, but they kept going.

Otis helped Maxxine Dupri to the back, which was just enough for Sami to remain Intercontinental Champion. Maxxine seems over Gable and Otis also looks to be in the same direction. Grade: A
