Big WWE Smackdown Push Planned For Pretty Deadly

During the latest WWE Draft, numerous talent from NXT were promoted to the main roster. It was a mix of surprising names and others that were overdue for the bump.

Several tag teams are now part of either RAW or SmackDown. On the SmackDown side, Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) were added.

According to a recent report from Xero News, the WWE is impressed by the duo. In fact, a big push is planned for Pretty Deadly.

“WWE are looking to give Pretty Deadly a very good push on SmackDown, they are earmarked to be future Tag Team Champions,” the report stated. “WWE very impressed with them and see big potential.”

So far, they can add a win over The Brawling Brutes, which is rather impressive to their names. From the way things have played-out on TV in recent weeks, it seems like Pretty Deadly will be working alongside Austin Theory.

The team was heavily featured in NXT and NXT UK. For both brands combined, they won tag team gold on four occasions. In late April, they were written out of NXT storylines as they were headed towards the main roster.

With Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn holding both tag titles from RAW and SmackDown, WWE might be looking to separate the belts so each brand has gold. WWE just started a new storyline were they are searching for new number one contenders as many superstars want a crack at the belts.

Perhaps, Pretty Deadly gets a massive push by winning the gold in the very near future.

So, since a big push is planned for Pretty Deadly, can they capture the tag team titles or will WWE drop the ball?
