This should be obvious, but we expect a big Bloodline fallout Friday on yet another SmackDown In A Nutshell.

Why would we expect that?

If, by chance, you missed last week’s show…or RAW…or any news in the last week…let’s catch up.

At Night of Champions, the Usos turned on Roman Reigns.

On last week’s show, we thought maybe the 1000 day celebration would give us some healing…but it did not.

So now, it’s big Bloodline fallout Friday, and we find out where Jey stands.

There will be plenty more, of course, with Money In The Bank approaching…but for now, it is time for…

Let’s crack open this Nutshell and see what happens!

Best Match of the night:

Has to be Main Event Jey Uso and Austin Theory…but sorry, this one was here, and good, because of the Bloodline.

Jimmy. Jey. Solo.

Maybe even Pretty Deadly…but Theory was just there.

Worst match of the night:

I don’t know that I have a choice here. The women’s matches felt lacking in time, but that’s about it.

Star of the Night

Maybe not much tonight…but you KNOW he’s going to have a big MITB…

Spot of the Night:

I mean…Jimmy kicking Jey was a big one.

Jobber of the Night:

Kind of felt like Michin Mia Yim was jobbing to Bayley tonight, doesn’t it?

Upset of the Night:

Jimmy and Jey might have an issue…

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

Scarlett and Karrion Kross are going for AJ Styles. I don’t hate it.

NXT Tag Champs versus WWE Women’s Tag Champs? Heck yes!

Charlotte Flair is back. Asuka has a new title belt that is a mini, and somehow less ugly, version of Roman’s.

And I think, btw, the way Flair cut the line? That’s how we get heel Belair.

Because not long before Pearce gave Asuka the new belt, he gave Bianca a rematch and told her to not ruin tonight’s show.

Yep…total heel turn confirmed.

Botch of the night:

Yep…it was the belt again. Less of a botch than last week…but not by a ton.

But then…Solo couldn’t go over the top rope.

LOL Moment of the night:

After all they’ve been through…Sami can still make him laugh.

But…why do I feel like his constant desire to save Jimmy and Jey will cause him and KO to implode?

Noteworthy Moment:

Way to start us off with a cliffhanger…

Hot off of a hideous title reveal last week (sorry, but the new belt for Roman is beyond terrible), we get a new one for Asuka.

The RAW Women’s Champion now working Friday becomes the WWE Women’s Champion. So what does that make Rhea’s title?

The upside, of course, is that no longer will a draft possibly send a RAW or SmackDown title to the other brand…because the titles are not linked to the show name. Smart.

Overall lowlights:

The belt reboots are bothering me. No, I am fine with re-naming them so that it makes the belt less tied to a show.

But the big W design sucked when it was revealed way back when, and it has NEVER gotten good. It was not a design that got better with age.

While Asuka’s new title is slightly better than Roman’s, it screams of a lack of artistic creativity. It is a pixel swap, when they had a chance to go for something awesome and iconic.

Like, seriously…the women deserve better.

Overall highlights:

I like the renaming of the belts…just not the lack of a redesign.

Tag team action heating up, love to see it.

Heel Bianca…the seeds were planted.

Main event keeps things cooking for the Bloodline.

After the final bell:

Strong show, gives us a few matches for next week, some clarity for London and…another title match for the returned Charlotte Flair.

Buckle up folks, things are getting good.
