The Wyatt Family was one of the most entertaining stables because of the characters. Before Bray passed away, he spoke to Erick Rowan about the stable reuniting.
Wyatt Family Reunion Was Discussed Claims Erick Rowan
The summer ended on a sad note as the world lost Bray Wyatt. He was only 36 years old, with his passing called a heart attack with complications from COVID.
He leaves behind a giant gap in the wrestling world as friends, family and coworkers try to absorb what happened. There have been plenty of cool stories about Bray and more will follow, like the one from Erick Rowan.
In Florida Championship Wrestling, Bray Wyatt, Rowan and the late Luke Harper were part to the Wyatt Family. The mysterious and eerie stable consisted of swamp people who spoke in riddles.
Like many groups before, they went their separate ways. While speaking on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Erick Rowan revealed speaking to Bray about bringing back the Wyatt Family.
“Windham talked to me about wanting to involve me,” said Rowan. “But you know, it’s all about timing, and places, and story, and what works best for the company.”
“You know, and it’s not all an individual’s decision. So, yeah, we’ve had conversations about like things we’d like to do and like stuff in the future.”
“But like, you know, life happens and things happen. Unfortunate things happen that are way more important than anything to do with this fictional wrestling that we do.”
Only Rowan is still alive from the original group. Harper passed away about three years ago.
Rowan and Braun Strowman appeared on SmackDown after Bray’s passing. Like their fellow wrestling brothers, they were out there to pay respect to a fallen friend.
So, would seeing the Wyatt Family reunite be one of those moments we talk about for years to follow?
