After being off TV because of injury, will R-Truth return to WWE shortly to either the RAW or SmackDown brand?
Will R-Truth Return To WWE Soon Following Lengthy Absence?
On occasion, WWE likes to bring main roster superstars to NXT. It is done to help increase ratings, while also letting possible future WWE wrestlers mingle with those who have already made it to RAW or SmackDown.
Last year, WWE was doing the some concept. R-Truth made a few appearances and started a program with Grayson Waller. They had a match to begin November 2022, but things did not go as planned.
R-Truth suffered a torn quad when he flipped over the top rope. The match never finished and WWE made no mention of what occurred as they went to picture-in-picture around the time of injury. He would undergo two surgeries as there were complications with the first one.
In April, R-Truth noted on social media how his return to WWE TV would be “soon.”
PW Insider reports that R-Truth was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama, earlier this week. Many top athletes, and WWE wrestlers, often head to the same doctor in Alabama.
Seemingly, it appears an R-Truth return to WWE is in the near future. Usually, after get cleared by the doctors, the next stop is the WWE Performance Center to fix any ring rust.
R-Truth turned 51 years old in January and, somehow, might be at the height of his pro wrestling career. He does not have a ton of wins, but he can make anyone break character; even Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.
The former 24/7 Champion, who had 53 reigns for a combined 425 days (both records), remains of the most popular people behind and scenes and on camera.Â
So, is anyone else excited to see R-Truth return to WWE shortly and who should be his first opponent back?
