It wasn’t a huge surprise, but it happened, and now we have reactions to the Creed Brothers’ debut on RAW from October 30th.

We found out that the team, former NXT tag champions, would be showing up on RAW to answer an open challenge issued by Alpha Academy.

Honestly, that might have been the only bummer about their entire debut.

Meaning, it was a slight bummer to not have it be a complete surprise…but I am a big fan of surprise debuts.

The Creeds arrived early on in the Halloween show, and as I called it during the RAW Nutshell, their debut match against Gable and Otis?

Match of the night kind of stuff.

It was not the cleanest match at times, as I caught a few exchanges where, in time, things will get crisper…but honestly, those things were few and far between.

But that was not only my opinion from New York watching it on TV.

Reactions To The Creed Brothers’ Debut

According to Fightful, the reactions to their debut match? Overwhelmingly positive.

My first response, without even talking about their minor upset victory?

In a mark of Triple H’s regime, creative kept the brothers together with Ivy Nile. Under the prior leadership, chances are we’d have seen her left in NXT, or even had the brothers broken up.

TKO is a good thing.

The match could not have gone much better. Setting them up to work against Gable and Otis was smart, considering all of their amateur backgrounds.

Given the promise shown by Julius and Brutus thus far, having them get a hard-fought win in their debut makes a lot of sense.

Having a nice show of sportsmanship between the two teams was a nice touch as well.

What remains unclear is if, moving forward, the brothers will be full time on RAW. The team did work Halloween Havoc back in Orlando on Tuesday, but it’s possible that was their final match for the brand.
