It’s time for another RAW In A Nutshell, and look…it’s a go-home Halloween show!

Yep, it’s the night before Halloween, and the last live main roster show before we dive into Crown Jewel.

After this show, Superstars start hopping on planes and making their way to Saudi Arabia.

I mean, not everyone…but a good chunk of the roster. And since it is a really long trip…SmackDown was already taped.

NXT is live on Tuesday, but I still don’t call that “main roster”.

So, we know to expect a lot of final hype for Crown Jewel. That’s to be expected.

We may even see a debut or two, unrelated to Saturday’s show.

So with that said…

Let’s crack open this Nutshell and enjoy the candy!

Best Match of the night:

Was it the cleanest? No.

It wasn’t the most hyped or anything.

But it was really fun to watch, and as the Creeds get more and more comfortable with the brighter lights and new opponents? It could be a lot of fun.

And of course, the main event was a whole different level of fun.

Worst match of the night:

If I really wanted to, I could complain about the trick or street fight…like if I tried to view it as a serious match.

But, it’s in good fun, and it was, and it’s an excuse for me to mention Chelsea Green getting a win!

Crowd Chants of the Night:

Crowd was into things, but nothing significant.

Star of the Night

The Creeds and Alpha Academy impressed. One of these teams needs tag gold.

Loved seeing DIY again, even if I wasn’t overly enthused by the new theme just yet.

I mean…WWE…has REAL tag teams. Specialists, if you will…maybe let’s get THEM cooking with belts?

Just a thought.

Spot of the Night:

Priest, to troll his Saturday opponent, dusts off The Reckoning.

Jobber of the Night:

Poor Tozawa…he got fed to Ivy Nile.

Upset of the Night:

Drew was upset, venting in a damn good promo.

Rollins ripped him apart.

Funny thing to think about…either man could leave Crown Jewel as a face…or a heel.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

I honestly did not see a possible GUNTHER-Miz feud…but I am here for it.

And honestly…why not? For all that the dominant Austrian has done…Miz is one of the most decorated Intercontinental Champions of all time.

GUNTHER has a point-Miz worries more about entertaining…but Mike shot back that he can be, and has been, serious.

Could be really good. Even with a Miz face turn, which we don’t get often.

Damn, Cody spitting fire on Priest, calling him a “follow behind-er”. Or, a “follow behind her”.

Both can be true, Priest wasn’t happy.

Botch of the night:

I missed it, but they did not…

LOL Moment of the night:

Tozawa…in Alpha Academy…is consistent comedy gold.

So was this…

Noteworthy Moment:

Both Nakamura and McIntyre with really good promos.

Not sure who Shinsuke is targeting yet, though so many are hoping the G2S and other comments mean it’s CM Punk foreshadowing.

Drew, of course, gets Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel. I’d be totally on board him taking Rollins out and getting a run with the gold and live crowds.

Overall lowlights:

I mean…nothing really bothered me tonight?

Not sure if Candice was legit knocked loopy, or if that was an angle to build Xia Li up more and/or cut some time from somewhere.

Hopefully more of an angle and less an injury, because head injuries aren’t funny.

Overall highlights:

Halloween costumes were on point. New Judgement Day, Chelsea and Piper as the Hart Foundation?

Yes please.

Show had, I think, a good balance of matches and promos hyping what’s going on this Saturday…coupled with some “filler” to keep everyone involved.

After the final bell:

I know I am a fan, but this was another good show. A lot going on, a lot to like.

Drama within the Judgement Day? Certainly the faces are poking at the cracks, is there a leader or not?

Drew is motivated for Saturday…and I look forward to how that goes.

And it wasn’t even all about Crown Jewel. I mean…the Creeds debuted on RAW, and DIY reunited for a match for the first time in forever?

All in all, a good show.
