As the WWE’s biggest annual event, a ton of planning goes into WrestleMania, which makes it no surprise that the company already has a proposed venue for WM 41, taking place in 2025. More on this, below.
What’s WWE’s Planned Location for WrestleMania 41?
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE already has WM 41’s location and date locked in for 2025. During June’s Money in the Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV), John Cena pleaded for London to get a WM.
Sadly, this won’t be happening in this coming year or next. As per the Fightful report, Minneapolis is being talked about for the venue of the Grandest Stage of Them All for the flagship event, which is set to take place April 6-7, 2025.
The proposed location would be the U.S. Bank Stadium. This is the home of the NFL Minnesota Vikings.
WWE Highly Views Stadium For Major Event
As per the report, the company views the U.S. Bank Stadium as a world-class venue and the stadium has been working very hard to get non-Viking-related events to fill seats.
Interestingly enough, this venue can fit up to 73,000 attendees. This is slightly lower than recent WM events, like SoFi (hosting WM 39 in LA) and the AT&T Stadium (hosting WM 38 in Arlington, Texas).
Still, WM is now a two-day extravaganza, and attendance is counted on both nights. So, it’s likely that “records will be broken”, regardless of the above number.
Speaking of the Grandest Stage of Them All, WM 40 takes place in Philadelphia in April 2024 at the Philadelphia Eagles Lincoln Financial Field. If you are planning on attending the flagship event, tickets will go on sale as of Friday, August 18th, at 10 a.m. ET.
