After the July 24 episode of RAW, one major question lingers: is Liv Morgan going to miss extended time?
Morgan was scheduled to work a non-title match against Rhea Ripley.
The member of Judgement Day had other ideas, of course.
Ripley attacked Liv before the contest even began, focusing on her arm.
By the time the segment was over, Rhea had made use of a steel chair to really do a number on the former champion’s limb.
Seeing her backstage, Morgan was doing quite the job selling the arm injury, crying out that she was unable to move it.
Now, as fans of the sport, we know that sometimes, injury angles like this are done to write talent off for side projects…and sometimes they are done to address real life injuries.
So…
Is Liv Morgan Going To Miss Extended Time?
Officially, there is not yet a clear answer…but fans certainly were speculating after the angle went down.
About that angle?
Per the Wrestling Observer, Morgan was spotted leaving last week’s RAW with her arm already in a sling-indicating there was an issue already present.
What’s worth mentioning is that Morgan already in the recent past suffered a shoulder injury, though she returned quicker than expected.
Is this current injury an extension of her prior injury? After that was initially suffered, it was reported that she’d need surgery.
It’s possible that perhaps she healed enough to work a bit more, finish up some angle and then get written off to actually have the needed surgery.
We know that she had been tabbed to take part in a wrestling related film project, but given the strikes involving Hollywood, that project is likely on hold for the moment.
It will be interesting to see if Morgan misses significantly more time than she recently did. If so, fans have already begun wanting her back as a surprise Rumble entrant-and winner.
