AEW Star “Rock Hard” Juice Robinson Injury Update
According to Fightful Select, Juice Robinson is out of action. He’s currently dealing with a back injury that requires surgery.
The former IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion has not been in a match since November 1st. This was when he was involved in an eight-man tag bout teaming with the Gunns and “Switchblade” Jay White.
The foursome went up against (and defeated) Anthony Bowens, Max Caster, MJF, and Billy Gunn. No information on when he suffered the injury or how long he’ll be away from television.
Still, the report reveals that his recovery will be as quick as possible, that is if no unforeseeable obstacles pop up. With that being said, the star will likely be out of action for the rest of 2023.
The talent has been a major part of the Bullet Club Gold’s (BCG) rivalry with World Champion MJF. It’s interesting to note that he was absent, due to this injury, from Saturday’s Full Gear pay-per-view (PPV), which saw the BCG lose both matches against MJF.
The World Champion won his tag team bout against the Gunns during the Zero Hour with Samoa Joe, retaining the Ring of Honor Tag Team titles. MJF also defeated Jay White in the main event to retain his AEW title.
Robinson debuted in All Elite Wrestling in 2022 during the September 28th AEW Dynamite. He faced Jon Moxley in a World Title Eliminator Match and lost.
He’s created quite the impact within the company, so here’s hoping he returns to action soon. On behalf of everyone here at WNZ, we wish Juice a speedy recovery.
