This past weekend’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view (PPV) in Los Angeles was an incredible event. However, it seems like MJF might be dealing with some injuries, post-event. Details on this story, are below.

MJF Dealing With Injuries After AEW Full Gear PPV?

The World Champion performed twice during Full Gear. Once on the Zero Hour pre-show when he and Samoa Joe defended their Ring of Honor (ROH) Tag Team titles against the Gunns, and again in the main event when he defended his World title against Jay White.

While he won both matches, it looks like he may have suffered some injuries during one of those bouts. His leg was attacked after the tag match, having him “work” his second match with a “kayfabe” leg injury.

Still, reports reveal that he may have legitimately been injured during the main event bout with Jay White. According to WrestlePurists on X/Twitter, MJF was said to have hurt his hip during this match.

The report was also confirmed by Fightful’s Sean Ross. According to the report, he hurt his hip and it had to be popped back in after the PPV.

In addition, the World Champion reportedly has a banged-up shoulder. As per the reports, he won’t miss any TV time, but he will be highlighted in a non-wrestling capacity while he’s recovering from these minor injuries.

In other news, it seems as if the debate about his expiring All Elite Wrestling deal can be placed to rest. After all, he hasn’t been too secret about the “Bidding War of 2024” while on TV, so many believed this was coming up.

Haus of Wrestling is reporting that a “higher up” WWE source is stating there has been “zero” talks between the star and the company. In addition, there’s also a belief from a number of WWE sources that he’s already “quietly” re-signed with All Elite Wrestling into 2027.
