Adam Cole Requires 2 Surgeries After Breaking Ankle

We all knew Adam Cole injured his ankle. AEW did not keep that secret as it was obvious with it being heavily taped.

It seems like Cole will be out of action for quite some time. On his Twitch, Cole revealed he will need at least two surgeries.

When everything is done, he will have four screws and metal plates inserted.

The injury did not take place during a match. Instead, Cole suffered the injury after celebrating with MJF during AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam last month.

Before the injury, Cole had been working against and with MJF. They wrestled to a time limit draw, which resulted in MJF turning face in the following weeks.

At All In from England, MJF and Cole participated in the opening match, where they won the ROH World Tag Team Championship. They still have the belts, with MJF currently working solo.

No word if he will vacate the gold.

Later in the night, Cole and MJF All In with a singles match. MJF walked out the winner and a friend of Cole.

With the new alliance, Roderick Strong felt left-out by Cole. For weeks, Strong has played the bad neck angle with Cole constantly being by his side.

Cole missed close to a year of action after suffering a pair of concussions. At one point, his future inside a wrestling ring was being debated.

Hopefully, Adam Cole returns even better than before. Pro wrestling is not designed for everyone and unfortunately, people may start to wonder if being inside the ring is Cole’s best choice.
