World Heavyweight Championship: Damian Priest Vs Seth “Freakin” Rollins Vs Drew McIntyre

Before the bell, this was a singles match before Drew McIntyre cashed-in in his Money in the Bank contract from about 60 minutes ago. Right away, I figured he as going to regret this decision.

Yes, CM Punk got involved like we all thought and left Drew on mat for easy pickings for Damian Priest. Therefore, Priest remains part of The Judgement Day and Seth Rollins does not get a title shot until we have a new titleholder.

It seems like Punk, McIntyre and Priest could be feuding for the next several months. I doubt it is over any belt as Gunther probably becomes World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam. Grade: B+

Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton & Kevin Owens Vs The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu)

First, I figured this would be much more violent with plenty of rules broken. For months, these wrestlers have been brawling around the arena and tearing everything down in the process.

The biggest story heading into the match was if Roman Reigns would return. It feels obvious he is returning shortly to put Solo back in his place.

No surprise in the end. My biggest issue is the match did not deserve the main event spot. Grade: B+

Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Jey Uso Vs Carmelo Hayes Vs. Andrade Vs Chad Gable vs LA Knight Vs Drew McIntyre

I like how they started with the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match as the winner still has the chance to cash-in that night; and, that is what happened. For the most part, few former world champions in the match meant greater opportunities.

Props to Carmelo Hayes and Andrade for their spot and same to Jey Uso and Chad Gable. I was waiting for the Wyatt Sicks to jump Gable, but there is always Monday’s RAW.

Fun match to open the show and everyone worked well together, although it was too short. I thought Jey Uso or LA Knight deserved to win before seeing what Punk caused. Grade: A-

Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn Vs Bron Breakker

Sami Zayn did the unthinkable by pinning Gunther clean at WrestleMania 40 to end the longest Intercontinental Championship reign ever. After such a lengthy run, I figured Sami would hold the belt for at least six months.

Then, Bron Breakker decided he wanted some gold. Breakker is so fast and agile for a man his size, hence making him the future of WWE.

Yet again, Sami secured a win that should be considered a major upset. Breakker did not leave with gold from Canada, but his time will come and his performance against a veteran was another impressive moment for the young star. Grade: A-

Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Iyo Sky Vs Chelsea Green Vs Lyra Valkyria Vs Naomi Vs Tiffany Stratton Vs Zoey Stark

Outside of Iyo Sky, anyone had a chance to win. I just do not see the value in the same person wining back-to-back years.

Of course, Chelsea Green is afraid of heights and that made for great TV and a jaw-dropping moment at the end. Awesome spots, although some of them looked rough on the landing.

Almost any of the women involved deserved to win, especially Tiffany Stratton. The ladies outperformed the gentleman, with Stratton deserving the briefcase. Grade: A-
