More: Ricochet Appears To Be Done With WWE

It seems like we have a couple contract stories each and every week now, and here’s one more. There are contract updates for each of Natalya and Chad Gable. Plus, perhaps a minor tidbit on Ricochet. In recent weeks, we’ve heard that everyone named has a contract that is set to expire in weeks, months or days. Natalya seems destined to be a lifer, given her lineage. Chad Gable should be a done deal based how he has been featured recently. Ricochet is said to have given his notice over the weekend to WWE that he is leaving-though some recent whispers say it’s not a done deal yet.

So what’s going on?

On the Natalya front, word is that negotiations are ongoing. The belief is that the structure of a deal may in fact be in place, but nothing is yet done. Relative to her situation, PWInsider indicates that the company feels slightly less pressure as her current deal has a bit of time left.

However, Chad Gable’s deal does not. As with the report about Natalya, the believe is that a deal is all but done. What may remain is the dotting of the i’s and crossing of the t’s, but barring a late snag, Gable is expected to re-sign. That isn’t a huge shock, given he has been heavily involved in a major WWE program with Sami Zayn. The fact that WWE gave him an Intercontinental Championship match at Clash at the Castle is big. It’s bigger still because it was apparently after his current deal was set to expire. This one may not be done, but should be soon.

As for Ricochet? Never say never. But current expectations are that he is written off WWE television during the June 10th edition of RAW.
