After a tough loss to close out this week’s RAW, does Chad Gable still have a shot at WrestleMania?

More specifically, does he still have a shot to take on GUNTHER?

I know what you are thinking. Gable got pinned, clean, by Sami Zayn to close out RAW and wrap up the gauntlet match.

Sami Zayn successfully ran the gauntlet and earned his shot at the Intercontinental Champion.

Or did he?

Gable looked despondent after the loss. He did not look like someone who had a complaint about the finish.

Now…that tune could possibly change.

Now, this observation is not being carried out by WWE…but the way things have gone…if fans get beind this, perhaps plans change?

Now, if or when this gets brought up by an official WWE account? Then all bets are off.

While some might be critical of an over-reliance on triple threat matches, this is a chance for one to be used, and to work out.

We’ve of course seen GUNTHER in a banger of a triple threat match on a big stage.

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus and GUNTHER did great work in their clash.

While it might not represent the same clash of power players, throwing Gable and Sami at the champion could be a classic in the making.

Then again, this could all be a big fan theory and wishful thinking.

But, we’ve seen crazier ideas gain traction and do wonders to change up past WrestleMania cards.

I doubt Daniel Bryan nor Kofi Kingston do what they did without a groundswell of fan support.

Do I think there is a case to be made here? Perhaps.

Will the match change? I am not so sure.

Zayn was booked to win, after all. But the idea of Zayn and Gable…that has a nice ring to it, too.
