Fans Angry Over Cody Rhodes, The Rock – Roman Reigns Heat
Seven days ago, it was clear Cody Rhodes was challenging Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. It would be a rematch from last year as Rhodes won back-to-back Royal Rumble Matches.

Basically, Rhodes is stepping aside and letting The Rock take his title shot.
As the segment was happening, Rhodes looked heartbroken. And, the fans are really pulling for him.
For days, #WeWantCody has been trending as fans upload their anger. As for the segment, WWE went back and edited it.
The YouTube clip from WWE’s official account removed the look on Cody’s face once The Rock appears. That is not common.
Although, it is also the most disliked video in WWE’s history on YouTube. As of now, there are over a 500,000 dislikes.
During PWInsider’s Q&A session, Mike Johnson noted how WWE is monitoring the reactions.
‘‘It’s live TV every single week,” said Johnson. “They can change direction any time they want and pivot to something different, including the original Cody vs Roman plan.”
“Whether they actually do remain to be seen. My gut is that we’ll see Rock vs. Roman, but it’s always possible Rock and/or WWE management will see the negative responses and seek to prevent that from getting worse.”
“We’ll see. I know that WWE was absolutely monitoring the responses.”
If nothing changes, look for Reigns vs The Rock and Seth Rollins vs Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Those are great matches, but fans want to see Cody Rhodes finish his story against Reigns.
So, will WWE smarten up and have Cody Rhodes enter the picture with Roman Reigns, or is it now all about The Rock?
