In such a short period, and after a wild week, The Rock seemingly has more power and control in WWE compared to Triple H.
The Rock Has More Power In WWE Compared To Triple H
WWE had big news in January. We learned The Rock joined the TKO Board and RAW was moving to Netflix next year.
Both pieces of news were positive for WWE and they were heading into Royal Rumble weekend as well. Then, everything changed after some investigating.
Vince McMahon was accused of abuse and sexual traffic. John Laurinaitis and Brock Lesnar, although never officially named, were also hinted in the court documents.
As sponsor pulled-out, it was panic mode. Somehow, Vince McMahon was convinced to resign.
Lesnar was replaced by Bron Breakker in the Royal Rumble and his return is questionable. Laurinaitis was fired last year, but he denies the new accusations.
Some say more departures might come. Anyone close to Vince, like Triple H and Nick Khan, should be worried.
As for the future of WWE, PWInsider reports how The Rock has gained a ton of power in a short time. Basically, if there is a power struggle, TKO would side with The Rock.
It is a huge blow to Triple H, who fought hard for control. He made some great TV compared to Vince, but his 30 years in the company could be nearing an end.
Many are not happy though. Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble again this year, but he gave his spot up.
Some say Rhodes will face the winner at SummerSlam. That could see all the top titles being unified later in the year.
That is along way to go on the WWE schedule and many things can happen in that time.
So, did The Rock gain more power over Triple H as WWE was dealing with a crisis?
