There have been some ugly accusations made about Chris Jericho, but it seems Tony Khan will not investigate as he’s getting an AEW title shot.

Chris Jericho AEW Title Match Set Despite Ugly Accusations

Once again AEW finds themselves in a tricky situation. 2023 ended on a bad note for Chris Jericho, as he was accused of being a creep.

Let us begin with a little backstory. A story was circulating about Jericho and Kylie Rae, who briefly worked for AEW.

Basically, Rae was told to meet Jericho in his locker room to discuss her matches. She was told others would be there too, but that was not the case.

Kylie did not like the feel of the atmosphere and left the room. She departed AEW quickly after and Tony Khan said it was applicable, but he did not say more.

As the accusations continued, Kylie Rae pout a heart emoji next to one. Many saw this as her confirming earlier reports.

Although, it needs to be noted that Chris Jericho has not admitted to any wrongdoings.

At Worlds End, the live crowd chanted “Kylie Rae” and “NDA” several times. #FireJericho also trended several times.

Tony Khan was asked to comment at the Worlds End post media conference. He refused to answer “unsourced rumors.”

And, for now, it seems like Jericho will not face an investigation. He earned a tag team title shot with Kenny Omega.

Since Omega is sick, Sammy Guevara now joins Jericho. They will wrestle at Battle of the Belts IX on January 13 against Big Bill and Ricky Starks in a street fight.

It seems like the fans will continue to taunt Jericho. He did not appear on TV this week outside of a backstage promo.

Still, he was heavily booed. Eventually, Tony Khan might have to address the situation.
