Chris Jericho accusations over Kylie Rae and NDAs were made, causing for a possible investigation; although, Tony Khan won’t comment.
Chris Jericho Accusations Will Not Be Addressed By Tony Khan
Before AEW Worlds End, social media was buzzing about Chris Jericho. Basically, it dates back to the early days of AEW.
Kylie Rae was briefly part of the organization before no-showing an event and then asking for her release. Tony Khan granted it, seemingly without any issues.
Now, Jericho has been accused of being creepy around women and having them sign an NDA. Worlds Ends saw Jericho heavily criticized by the live crowd.
In the Kylie case, rumors are she was asked to go to Jericho’s locker room. She was told other people would be there and it was to discuss her career.
Instead, Kylie went and she was the only one there. The reports noted how she felt uncomfortable and left in a hurry.
Jericho did not react to the crowd and has not made a statement. Although, Tony Khan somewhat commented during the Worlds End post-media conference.
Tony Khan Calls AEW The Safest Pro Wrestling Company Around
“I can’t speak to unsourced rumors,” said Khan. “I spoke earlier and spoke about the policy we have in place, and I believe that AEW is the safest company in the world.”
“AEW has the best safety record, I believe of any pro wrestling company in the world. We have a safe environment.”
“I believe we have the safest environment out of any pro wrestling company in the world, and I would hold the record of AEW on safety against any pro wrestling company in the world. If any of our wrestlers ever have a concern, they always have an open line to talk to me.”
“I believe that anyone could tell you that they are free to come and talk to me at any time they are concerned about anything.”
It remains to be seen if Khan or AEW will pursue the matter further. Based on the backlash, Jericho might have to at least disappear from TV for a bit.
