So, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine is a name current pro wrestling fans probably do not know. Although, anyone who has been watching for a few decades knows that name.

He started back in 1970 and retired in 2019. But, the last 15 or so years saw a decline in popularity.

That is just how the business works.

And, it seems like his year will not end on a positive note. Missy Beefcake, the wife of WWE Hall of Famer Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, uploaded a bunch of video and audio clips.

As you can tell, Valentine takes several verbal shots at the homophobic community and Beefcake’s wife. He focused his anger towards CNN and Shawn Michaels.

The decision by Miss Beefcake to post the comments for the public to see might draw criticism. Still, the hate shown by Valentine’s words is not needed in 2023.

WWE has not worked with “The Hammer” in a long time (about 15 years). And, seeing what has been posted, they probably will not be reaching out.

During his time in WWE, Valentine walked away as an Intercontinental Champion and Tag Team Champion. Interestingly, he teamed with none of then, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.

For a career worth over 40 titles, Valentine entered the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. He certainly earned that spot based off his accomplishments inside a pro wrestling ring.

So, did Greg “The Hammer” Valentine just ruin his entire career? Or, will this be considered a moment of lapsed judgement?
