AEW star CJ Perry was in the hospital because of a finger infection. Looks like the talent is back there now, because of complications.
AEW’s CJ Perry Dealing With More Finger Infection Issues
Perry hopped on social media Wednesday morning noting to fans that she was heading to the hospital due to “complications”. She states in the post that her finger infection resurfaced, and she’d require a second surgery.
Due to this, she will be missing more time on AEW. This includes this week’s Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision episodes.
This morning, she posted on both her Twitter and IG accounts that she completed her second surgery. Looks like she needs at least 10 days of recovery time off.
CJ Perry’s History With AEW
Perry was originally with the WWE from 2013 to 2021. She acted as a manager to real-life hubby Miro (who’s also currently in AEW), and near the end of her run with the company, also wrestled.

CJ became All Elite in September 2023. She first appeared on programming during the All Out event, saving Miro from Powerhouse Hobbs after their match.
Still, Miro rejected Perry as part of their AEW storyline, which prompted her to look for other clients. She managed Action Andretti and more recently, Andrade El Idolo.
Then, things changed with one departure.
Unfortunately, her finger infection cut her run with Andrade short in December. Upon Perry’s return at AEW World’s End, she ended up turning on him to help Miro score the win, when the two faced off during the event.
