Just days ahead of the first major PLE of 2024 and a pair of potential Royal Rumble entrants emerge.

Those two names come from PWInsider.

Specifically, there is a belief that we may see one return and one debut.

The debut would be of highly anticipated free agent signing Jade Cargill.

Cargill was signed away from semi-rival AEW late in 2023 to much fanfare.

However, following her signing, the company showed her off across it’s shows…and then things went silent.

Triple H was clear that while she had a ton of potential, she had a lot of training to work through at the Performance Center before she would be ready.

It was an indictment of the lack of formal training in AEW for green talents, but something even Cargill admitted.

So now, after months of fans waiting and wondering, there is a belief that Saturday might be that time.

If so, it would be quite the vote of confidence in the Superstar. Given the training comments, I honestly expected at least reports of some non-televised matches in NXT.

But, if she debuts, she obviously won’t be alone.

While the Rumble makes a great spot for a debut, it also is great for returns too.

And, WWE definitely has quite a few women who could be returning.

We know it won’t be Charlotte or Cora Jade, as they just had their surgeries.

Dakota Kai seems as though she should be closer, but recent signs point to a lack of clearance.

Carmella and Alexa Bliss could be back sooner than later. Both former champions became moms in 2023.

However, there’s been no clear indication for them coming back on Saturday.

According to PWI, they surprisingly expect Sonya Deville to be making her return.

For me, the math doesn’t quite add up.

Deville injured her knee-an ACL tear-in early August of last year.

Assuming the best case six month recovery timeframe? That puts her at the first week of February.

Contrast that with Dakota Kai. Dakota suffered her injury in May, and at that time her own timeline for a return was January.

Meaning, she would seem more likely to be showing up in Tampa.

I will admit to two things. One, I am not a doctor, and two, Dakota has had previous knee injuries, so her timeline could be longer because of that.

I would be pleasantly surprised if Deville is indeed back on Saturday…and if the member of Damage CTRL is too?

Well, I wouldn’t be shocked at all.
