NXT Wrestler Lash Legend Getting Praise From WWE

NXT was up last night with the return on their Deadline event. Overall, the show was a great way to conclude the year.

Like the previous year, WWE had the Iron Survivor Challenge for both men and women. The Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge saw Tiffany Stratton vs. Lash Legend vs. Blair Davenport vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Fallon Henley.

In the end, Davenport did just enough to earn a future title shot. Although, everyone left the match looking better than when it started.

Lash Legend almost won the match, securing two pins. In fact, she pinned Stratton and Henley at the same time in a unique moment.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer went over how WWE likes what they see in Lash Legend. Basically, they are impressed with her size at six feet tall.

“They are really high on her because she has got size,” said Meltzer. “And, because she’s a top level athlete.”

Yes, that is a comment that Vince McMahon would make when he had more say. With Triple H having lots of power compared to before, we have begun to see smaller sized wrestlers get massive pushes.

Hopefully, we do not see pattern form or larger wrestlers receiving more TV time.

Lash did show that strength at Deadline, especially with the corner of doom spot.

She signed with WWE three years ago and debuted in September 2021. In the beginning, she seemed to be lost.

Then, she began working with NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar and his group. That saw her featured almost weekly on NXT TV.
