The AEW Continental Classic is underway and the betting sites already have two favorites to enter the finals at Worlds End.
AEW Continental Classic Spoiler On Likely Finals
It seems hard to believe, but AEW is preparing to introduce another title. This time, the winner of the current tournament became the AEW Continental Classic Champion.
While not confirmed, the winner will hold the ROH World Championship, Strong Openweight Championship and the AEW Continental Championship. Basically, anyone in the tournament is having their belt defended.
The person with the most to lose is Eddie Kingston. He currently holds the ROH World Championship and Strong Openweight Championship.
According to BetOnline, Kingston will have trouble coming out of the tournament wearing any gold. He sits at +500, which are not great odds.
Although, things are looking much better for Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland. Since both are in different brackets, they are the favorites to enter the finals at Worlds End.
Bryan sits at -135 to win the Blue League and Strickland at +185 in the Gold League. If they were to meet in the finals, Danielson is favored to leave the victor at +150.
Although, anything can still happen between now the pay per view on December 30.
Danielson is yet to wrestle in the tournament after suffering a broken orbital bone not too long ago. He will look to get on the scoreboard tonight as he faces Kingston.
Strickland has competed twice, earning wins over Jay Lethal and Jay White. He is riding high after defeating “Hangman” Adam Page at Full Gear.
Their Texas Death Match was very brutal with some saying AEW went too far. The spot with Page drinking and spitting Strickland’s blood caused even shock to the most hardcore fans.
So, will Bryan Danielson or Swerve Strickland leave Worlds End as the AEW Continental Classic winner or is the spoiler wrong?
