Following a heel turn and split from the LWO, who might join Santos Escobar?

As whispers of a possible Escobar turn grew, many just figured we would see a reformation of Legado del Fantasma from their time in NXT.

However, based on what transpired on the November 17th SmackDown, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro have a pretty good idea on where they stand.

In case you missed that show, Escobar attacked both former stable mates, angered that they sided with Rey Mysterio over him.

So, a reunion of Legado seems unlikely.

And, based on how Zelina Vega handled Escobar’s superbly sinister promo…she won’t want any part of any new group, should one be formed.

Who Might Join Santos Escobar?

Based on everything we’ve seen thus far, it seems likely that the Latino World Order moves forward with Mysterio, Vega, Carlito, del Toro and Wilde.

For Escobar…right now he is very alone.

But there is talk that Los Lotharios, most recently in NXT, could be called back up to team up alongside the former leader of LDF.

And I cannot help but wonder, with Zelina clearly not a fan of what has gone down…could Santos seek to bring back his group’s original valet Elektra Lopez?

Now, it’s unfortunate that Mysterio sustained an injury, because a five on five battle between these two groups could be perfect for Survivor Series and one of it’s traditional elimination tag matches.

Of course, if Escobar does add Los Lotharios…they’d still be 2 short. I would imagine if he wasn’t otherwise occupied, Dom would be happy to join in the fun.

An interesting side note to this? While Los Lotharios have been previously discussed to get involved in things, the prior iteration had them joining Rey, with the former Legado staying together.
