It’s time for another RAW In A Nutshell, and the biggest question tonight is…can Cody and Jey reign again?

As in, Rhodes and Uso getting a chance to win the tag titles back from Judgement Day once again.

That should be our main event for Monday, but there is a lot more planned, based on our usual preview.

Indi Hartwell gets into the ring, seeking revenge against the newly nasty Xia Li.

Otis steps up to take on the diabolical Shinsuke Nakamura, which ought to be a strong test for both Superstars.

Ciampa continues to battle against members of Imperium…and on and on.

Plus, in case you forgot, we are now less than two weeks away from Survivor Series.

Last week, Adam Pearce confirmed at the close of the show that we would indeed get WarGames once again…and we know at least some of the participants.

Will we learn more tonight? Given the short time left between now and then, I am banking on some new news for that Saturday in Chicago.

With that said, it is time for us to dive in!

Can Cody And Jey Reign Again : RAW In A Nutshell

Let’s crack open this Nutshell and find out!

Best Match of the night:

For many reasons, the main event delivered.

However, Miz and Ivar was really good too. Kind of dig a face Miz still winning in ways heel Miz would.

Worst match of the night:

I don’t know if I can pick on one this week. Maybe Tegan and Piper, but even that one I liked.

Crowd Chants of the Night:

Good crowd, no chants I am calling out though.

Star of the Night

This deserves at least a nod…no?

And then I suppose Mami, in spite of everyone else getting booted, sticks around (I thought she was booted, I guess she wasn’t), but she got Drew to shake hands and just like that…turn.

Spot of the Night:

Not so much a specific spot, but I guess Xia Li is now becoming the new legend killer type, with her move doing what Orton’s punt used to do.

Jobber of the Night:

For as long as his extended try-out lasts, JD McDonagh is the jobber for Judgement Day.

Jey had Priest lined up for a spear and JD ate it.

Upset of the Night:

If we were going by the tale of the tape, then Tegan Nox shouldn’t have had a chance against Piper Niven.

But we don’t, and she won.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

JD the Irish Ace finally is a full-fledged member of Judgement Day. Honestly, that felt a bit…anti-climactic?

Like, have him awarded it in the ring or something?

Botch of the night:

The only thing that stood out? When Balor and Priest went to shake hands before walking out, the exchange was awkward.

Like, Balor was ready to shake with the hand out, before Priest was.

I know it’s weak…it’s all I have.

Commentary of the night:

If the announcers know who Shinsuke is sneakily calling out, they are playing very coy.

I doubt they do. Or, at least, I doubt most do.

Cole might, but who knows.

Looks like Gable will be up next, but Shinsuke Nakamura has someone else in mind. And if he issues an open challenge for Survivor Series, the CM Punk speculation will be at an all time high.

My only reason for it not being Punk? Because…you aren’t going to have Punk lose coming back, and the way Nakamura is going, it would be bizarre to have him calling someone out for weeks and then lose to them.

LOL Moment of the night:

The looks on everyone’s faces once Cody had goaded Priest into saying he was the leader of Judgement Day was…priceless.

Noteworthy Moment:

Once Pearce laid down the edict, it set the table for Drew’s turn to be official.

Everyone not in the tag title match was not just banned from ringside…but from the arena.

Drew wasn’t in WarGames at that point…

Like…this was that kiss of betrayal, almost…

Overall lowlights:

To me, a lowlight is me complaining. And tonight was a good show top to bottom, so I really have none.

OK, I have one.

Maybe we knew it was coming too long? But…Drew’s turn was kind of underwhelming no?

Like, it felt…unsatisfying.

He just quietly shows up, takes out Jey, helps the heels win. Walks off, shakes hands with Ripley…and fade to black.

Overall highlights:

Could Tegan Nox finally get a push (and stay healthy for it)?

Becky against Xia next week…could be good. Also seems certain the women of SmackDown are doing the WarGames thing this year, if anyone.

Judgement Day was cooking.

Pearce was too.

Cody and Seth with that nice respect but dislike. Who doesn’t like the tension that these teams can give us!?

After the final bell:

Well, we have just a single show left to go before WarGames. Next week is in Grand Rapids, and we have the match to determine which team has the advantage.

Will Orton arrive to help tilt things in the faces favor?
