Fans have not seen him since Wembley, so they may be asking…when will Jack Perry return?
Perry found himself suspended for his involvement in the backstage clash with now-former AEW talent CM Punk.
CM Punk was fired, partly due to what transpired…but likely due to his actions from a year ago, too.
Still, there were some who thought Perry should have been fired, either instead of or in addition to Punk.
But, some cynical fans believe that the former Jungle Boy is one of Tony Khan’s favorites, and as such, has more leeway.
Either way, Perry was suspended for his own actions, and we’ve not heard a thing from or about him since.
When Will Jack Perry Return?
It is a fair question, considering that when the suspension news dropped, it was basically an indefinite suspension.
According to PWInsider, however, Perry’s suspension is in fact over and done with, meaning he can return at any point in time.
There is a belief that, while his suspension has ended, keeping him off television isn’t a bad thing. It just allows more time to pass since the events in London.
Say what you will about Punk, but at least some of what he said that may have annoyed the young star was spot on.
It’s been said that Punk told Perry not to use real glass for a prior spot, and that this was one incident behind AEW’s “safety protocols” we learned about over the summer.
Here’s the thing…like him or not, guys like Punk have done this for a long time. They know how to do it, and they know how to do it safely, usually.
So, while there might be some other issues, that was one thing Punk and other veterans had right.
Regardless, with a suspension over, it’s just a matter of when we will see Jack Perry on television again.
