Roman Reigns is draped in gold and carries an unbelievable record as he looks to close the year, but he will miss one of WWE’s biggest pay per views.

Roman Reigns Not Scheduled For A Huge WWE Pay Per View

Roman Reigns has been WWE’s guy for almost a decade. He was brought to the main roster with the idea of being the next top star.

His time in The Shield saw the trio receive massive support from the fans. Then, the group went their separate ways.

Fans were not digging Reigns as the top face of WWE. Despite being pushed to the moon and winning a ton of titles, fans continued to boo him.

Over three years ago and WWE made a drastic change as Reigns turned heel and aligned with Paul Heyman. Since then, everything is completely different.

He has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for over a 1,000 days and The Bloodline storyline has been compelling. And, do not forget only Jey Uso has pinned Reigns during that same time period.

Naturally, most figured Reigns would be at Survivor Series. Although, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how “The Tribal Chief” is only scheduled for Crown Jewel and then the Royal Rumble in January.

Therefore, one of the Big 4 WWE pay per views will not have the champion present. He is scheduled to face LA Knight at next week’s Crown Jewel.

At this point, there are very few wrestlers Reigns has not defeated during his multiyear run. There is still AJ Styles and WWE has already begun that storyline.

Some want Reigns to drop the belt for not appearing as much, while others are calling for him to surpass Bruno Sammartino. If he wants to topple Sammartino’s record, then he needs that gold for at least a few more years.
