CM Punk has been getting plenty of attention since departing AEW and he somewhat responded when asked if he would be at next month’s WWE Survivor Series event.

CM Punk On Possibly Working WWE Survivor Series 2024

All In was a historic night for AEW as they produced possibly the largest wrestling event ever in the United States. Although, a big drawback from the event was the opening contest.

The match with Samoa Joe and CM Punk was great. It was Punk getting into a backstage incident with Jack Perry that left people questioning the company.

Days later, Tony Khan let Punk go. He mentioned being scared for his life and the safety of everyone in the back.

Now that Punk is no longer part of AEW, fans are looking closely at Survivor Series on November 25. It comes from the Allstate Arena, which is not far from where CM Punk stays.

WWE seems to be dropping plenty of clues about him appearing. As of now, Punk being there has not been confirmed by anyone.

In an interview with Dan Bernstein and Lawrence Holmes on 670 The Score, they asked him pointblank if he was returning to WWE on that day. Basically, Punk did everything possible to not answer the question directly.

“I think it’s sold out,” said CM Punk. “I think tickets are hard to get.”

“I have an injury in the family. My dog [Larry] blew his dog ACL. I’m literally just spending my time with him.”

“I know that sounds crazy, but he is my son. And I take care of him and treat him as such.”

Punk retuning to WWE would create plenty of buzz. Yet, the same thing happened in AEW and that feeling seemed to turn into regret.

Remember, Punk left WWE almost exactly a decade ago. His final performance was in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match in 2014.

He did somewhat return years later as a co-host of WWE Backstage. Still, he never wrestled and the show was scratched when the pandemic arrived.

There is no word if Punk had a clause in AEW contract that would keep him from wrestling for WWE.
