With a lot going right, it is no surprise to learn that RAW has 2 hot Superstars earning heaps of praise from those in the back.

With a lot going right, it is no surprise to learn that RAW has 2 hot Superstars earning heaps of praise from those in the back.

And those Superstars are more often than not known for their tag team prowess…but they are earning that praise from their work against each other in singles competition.

We are talking about Kofi Kingston and Ivar.

Usually, we’d discuss the New Day battling the Viking Raiders, and we’ve seen those two teams clash plenty in the recent past.

Due to Erik’s injury keeping him out an extended period of time, happening in the midst of the two teams feuding, WWE creative decision makers had two options.

Keep the feud going without half of the Viking Raiders…or put the entire feud on ice.

Creative minds opted to keep it going, and now we can say…

RAW Has 2 Hot Superstars

Per Fightful, the pair of Kofi and Ivar have gotten rave reviews for their most recent singles match, and it could just be the start of something great.

In Kingston, we know we have a former world champion. Kofi-mania was a pretty awesome run, even if it did end rather abruptly.

In Ivar, however…he’s never had that kind of a singles run. He has worked singles matches before, of course, but could this be a chance for him to raise his stock?

Could we perhaps see an Ivar-Mania run of his own?

Maybe not, but considering his unqiue blend of size, talent and an uncanny ability to simply do things that men his size should not be able to do…why not?

For now, the two will probably continue to work, and why not? Good matches are good for business.

Throwing a crazy thought out there…but sometimes fierce rivals become unlikely partners, forming a bond of mutual respect.

Kofi doesn’t find himself needing a partner…yet…but it could be something interesting, however unlikely.
