When WWE and UFC merged, everyone knew changes were coming. For WWE, they saw a bunch of names let go.

Office workers, those backstage, wrestlers and trainees were released. On the main roster side, two of those shown the door included the Maximum Male Models (Mace and Mansoor).

During a recent Twitch stream, both members of the team appeared. Mansoor spoke about the heat he had in WWE dating back to his early days with the company.

Basically, it occurred when Mansoor did not shake hands with those in the back, which is an unwritten rule. Mustafa Ali pulled Mansoor to the side and went over his mistake.

“I was like, ‘What? What happened?,’ said Mansoor. “‘You didn’t say hi to anybody, you didn’t introduce yourself, you didn’t shake anybody’s hand’”

“Yeah, I [think I had heat with Kofi Kingston]. I was really, really sad about that. I was like, ‘Oh my God. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do that at all. I just thought that that’s not what you do here’.’ He’s like, ‘Of course it is. Were you not told that?’”

“And this is before our run by the way so this was my first time ever talking to Ali and funnily enough, he was like, ‘Yeah, Claudio said that he was pissed’. I was like, ‘F—! No!’ Because I’m a huge Cesaro fan and I would end up working him, obviously, later.”

“Anyway, afterwards, I shake everyone’s hand, I say, ‘Thank you, thank you very much’, introduce myself to everybody.”

For now, it is unknown what is next for Monsoon. He likely has the standard 90 day non compete clause, hence he has time to decide.

He was never heavily featured in WWE, leading to questions about his in-ring skills. There are options out there besides WWE for employment.
