After losing time in 2023 to injury already, is Grayson Waller less than 100 percent?

We don’t like seeing talent go down to injuries, but it’s a pretty rough and tumble world where injuries are an unfortunate byproduct.

However, to the best of my knowledge, I can say right now…Grayson Waller has not suffered a new injury.

The brash Australian Superstar has enjoyed quite the 2023, coming up from NXT and debuting via his Grayson Waller Effect talk show segment before finally making his in-ring debut on SmackDown.

And what a debut it was…first blue brand match…against Edge.

Since then, he’s been enjoying good early success, but thanks to recent comments he made, we ask…

Is Grayson Waller Less Than 100 Percent?

And the answer, straight from Waller himself? He is indeed thinking he is less than full capacity.

Officially, he feels like he is about 85% recovered.

For those who maybe didn’t realize it, Waller suffered a broken leg during his final NXT match against Carmello Hayes.

Then, while injured, Waller was drafted earlier this year to the SmackDown brand.

With Elimination Chamber heading to Perth next year, he got to hype up the event in front of his home crowd.

During his media time, he mentioned that he still feels that he isn’t all the way back from the leg, but that in the grand scheme, he was happy how things worked out.

Because of the injury, he was able to keep running the talk show segment.

It was a means for WWE to have him on weekly and keep him involved, and Waller feels that if he was not injured, he might have lost his show.

Instead, the WWE Universe got to know him for a bit before he had to wrestle a match, and while he’s still getting up to speed, he’s acquitted himself nicely thus far.
