In a headline some have issues with, the trial starts next week for WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Lynn Sytch.

Sytch, better known as Sunny, was one of the first major female Superstars ahead of the Attitude Era and the Divas.

As big a star as she was in WWE back in her time…once boasting to be the most downloaded woman on the Internet…time has not been kind to her.

Since she left the spotlight of the wrestling world, she has bounced around doing what she can to make ends meet, and life has not gone her way.

She has found herself in trouble with the law on numerous occasions. That goes hand in hand with substance abuse issues.

Once a stunning specimen, Sytch is a shell of her former self, with substance abuse and time taking their toll.

She made news last year for a fatal DUI arrest in Florida, the latest in a string of bad decisions.

Now, it is time for her to face the music.

This is not her first transgression, but it is certainly one of her worst.

So much so that former WWE Superstars, including at least one Hall of Famer, had urged the company to remove her from the WWE Hall of Fame.

While such a distinction is not nearly as significant as say, removal from a pro sports hall, it’s still a big deal.

Hulk Hogan, for example, had been removed for significantly less than killing a man (and as bad as what Hogan did was…he’s been restored now).

Her drunk driving crash killed a 75 year old Floridian last spring, and now over a year later, she will face a jury of her peers for her latest punishment.

Perhaps this will finally be the time where Sytch hits rock bottom and can turn her life around?
