After the run they had, they deserved the time away, but could a former champion return soon?

For months and months, her winning streak was the talk of AEW, if not the wrestling world.

Jade Cargill was dominant, running off sixty consecutive wins. During this time, she had won and was defending the AEW TBS Championship.

That all came to a screeching halt earlier this year, when she had an unannounced title defense against a surprise returning Kris Statlander.

Statlander, as you’d expect in that situation, was victorious. The streak was over, the title gone…Jade took time off.

Like, she disappeared, completely off the radar.

It seemed she was set for a decent break away from the ring…but that break may be ending soon.

There were confirmed reports that Cargill was visiting backstage during a recent show.

Adding to that, according to Fightful, there have been discussions about when and how to have the former champion make her big return.

Considering that the company has two massive shows in two consecutive weeks coming up…we might see a good chance for a return very soon.

There have been a number of key injuries to the AEW Women’s Division, with some not expected back until early next year at this point.

Given that she’s done so much with the mid-card women’s title, it would make a ton of sense to have Cargill back, and put her right into the mix to challenge for the top women’s belt within the company.

Whether that is on the table or not, we shall see. Either way, if you are a fan of Jade Cargill and you miss seeing her on AEW television…you may be getting her back very soon.

Big shows are always known for surprises to get fans talking…and having her arrive at All In or All Out would be a good one.
