This week’s RAW In A Nutshell gives us a simple theme…we hope to see a big return in Quebec.

As in, Kevin Owens, who we have not seen work a match in over a month due to injury.

Perhaps we see him and Sami Zayn wrestle a match, too? Not sure if a defense is in the cards in front of their countrymen.

But, we know the Judgement Day will be waiting to try and once again take him out.

Something else for us this week…we get the follow up between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura, since the King of Strong Style kicked the world champ last week.

And, if somehow none of that does it for you, how about GUNTHER and Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Championship?

I am sure there will be more, but for now, let’s get into…

Big Return In Quebec : RAW In A Nutshell

Let’s crack open this Nutshell and get into it!

Best Match of the night:

I really enjoyed Gable and GUNTHER. Not sure we’d ever see Gable take the gold (we can dream), but I don’t think anyone expected a title changing hands here. Not with the record about to fall.

Worst match of the night:

Candice LaRae versus Rhea Ripley.

That was more about getting Raquel back into the mix, but poor Candice. She deserves better.

Crowd Chants of the Night:

The local crowd was strong. Super hot for Sami Zayn and the returning Kevin Owens especially, considering they are hometown boys.

Also really heated at Trish and Zoey.

Star of the Night

Quebec fans, for sure.

Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

Have to give a nod to Gable and GUNTHER too.

Spot of the Night:

That chop by GUNTHER that hit nothing but the post? Ouch.

Gable’s suplex of the champ over the barrier? Crazy.

Jobber of the Night:

Pains me to say Candice…but Candice.

Upset of the Night:

Officially, Cole was telling us that Tozawa over The Miz was the upset. Perhaps it is.

But…he did have some help.

I’d go with Gable over GUNTHER, because of the significance, which I get into next…

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

GUNTHER lost for the first time in well over a year.

Bet you didn’t think the first loss in forever for him would be at the hands of Chad Gable, did you?

Yes, it may have “only” been a count out win for the Olympian…but a win is a win.

Botch of the night:

I am sure there was one, but being completely honest, i watched a lot of the show on delay as I am on vacation in Florida and am catching up.

So, if there was one, I missed it

Commentary of the night:

Nothing shocking here, I like Cole and Barrett.

LOL Moment of the night:

Tozawa, doing his best LA Knight impression, which of course drove The Miz bananas.

Akira is capable of really nice matches and probably doing more than he’s been…

Noteworthy Moment:

So, now we know what Shin said…

Becky will get Trish Stratus in a cage in two weeks.

Next week, however, in Memphis? Her and Zoey Stark…falls count anywhere.

Plus, given the comments Trish made tonight, I can’t help but think it’s foreshadowing a return for Lita.

I mean, it probably is not…but Becky should get some backup, no?

Rollins addressed Nakamura’s comments last week, and (storyline or not?) announced he had two fractures in his lumbar spine.

So…is this him setting up to drop the belt and take time off?

Overall lowlights:

Not a fan of what’s going on with Candice, but hopefully she will find her Way.

Overall highlights:

Seth and Shinsuke could be…should be…really good. And if WWE did not put the belt on Finn, because it’s going to be dropped to Nakamura?

I’d be here for it. After all, Balor is high with Judgement Day. A title run for Nakmura, on the other hand?

Boosts him significantly, in my opinion. Would be a smart move.

After the final bell:

Payback is shaping up. Next week is shaping up.

Things, in general, are shaping up. Was a pretty good show, all things considered.
