Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle had issues before their WWE program last year. Now, both parties have settled any animosity between them.
Seth Rollins And Matt Riddle Make Peace Over Real-Life Beef
Matt Riddle’s ex-wife made comments about Becky Lynch years ago and as a result, that caused tension with Seth Rollins. It is understandable that Rollins would be annoyed with someone talking about his then girlfriend, who has since become his wife and mother of their only child.
The two feuded last summer for months. After those intense encounters, both are apparently on good terms now.
While speaking to Impaulsive, Rollins went into further details.
“He apologized and we’ve mended fences,” said Rollins. “I don’t write anybody off.”
“I’m not like one of those guys that’s like ‘No second chances. You do wrong by me, I hate you forever.’ I’m not that stubborn, it’s not that serious –- unless you do some real nasty stuff. Everyone makes mistakes, and I’m all about forgiveness, second chances, what have you.”
“I will give you the benefit of the doubt. He was a big man about it and came forward and apologized and we were able to work together and I’m happy for that.”
Their feud was actually paused for a bit as Riddle was suspended by WWE for violating the Wellness Policy. He returned earlier this year, following a two month suspension, which also included entering rehab.
Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle produced a decent feud. It will not be listed as one of the best angles in 2022, but it kept both busy and the matches were always decent.
Since then, Riddle still finds a way to keep people talking. Several personal pictures and videos have been leaked online, with the most recent happening a few days ago.
Rollins is now a face and won the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions.
