In late 2022, Dustin Rhodes had an interview where he stated there were only a few more months left on his All Elite Wrestling (AEW) contract. A new report sheds some light on how much longer he has with the wrestling company.

Is Dustin Leaving AEW Soon?

During his time on Busted Open Radio in December 2022, it was noted that his AEW deal was ending in July 2023. Many fans questioned if he’d be leaving the promotion and possibly heading back to the WWE.

After all, his brother jumped ship and returned to that company in 2022. However, a new report from Fightful sheds some light.

According to the report, the talent is not leaving AEW, anytime soon. In fact, he’s got plenty of time left on his agreement with All Elite.

As per sources, his AEW contract does not expire until September 2024. There was no information on whether he signed an extension or what led to the extended time period between the two dates.

Dustin’s AEW History

Rhodes has had an incredible wrestling career spanning over three decades. He’s best known for his role as Goldust in the WWE, where he spent many years evolving this incredible and ground-breaking persona.

During that time, he became a World Tag Team Champion three times, an Intercontinental Champion three times, and also held the WWF Hardcore title, nine times. He followed his brother to AEW in April 2019.

He would end up facing Cody at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view (PPV) and lost the match. Still, the bout was very well-received by fans and wrestling journalists alike.

With that being said, at the age of 54, his career is winding down. Tony Khan recently praised him while on Sports Guys Talking Wrestling, stating he’s an important AEW figure, both on- and off-screen.
