During a recent podcast interview, AEW star Malakai Black recently revealed that he requested to be exclusively on the Collision roster. More on this story, below.

Black Will Only Be On Collision

The House of Black (HOB) faction has been on the AEW Saturday show since it first debuted in June. The AEW talent was recently on Bobby Fish’s podcast to reveal that he asked to be “strictly” on Collision.

The superstar believes this “exclusivity” to the Saturday night show will mean something. If the HOB was Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision, then it wouldn’t “really matter” to fans, they could tune in on any day to see the stable in action.

Knowing that HOB is exclusive to Collision, fans know to expect to see him and the faction on Saturday. Black told Fish that’s what he wanted.

The “Feeling” On That First Collision

The AEW Star also talked about the atmosphere for that first Collision, which he notes was “great”. He states that “everyone” was motivated and excited.

Malakai also goes on to say that it was a “very, very, fun day” and that it was an overall good experience. Sounds like the start of Collision went off without a hitch.

Currently, HOB is involved in a program with Andrade El Idolo. Andrade defeated Buddy Matthews during the first Collision epi, and Brody King lost to the superstar via DQ the next week.

Unfortunately, HOB stole El Idolo’s mask after the bout and began taunting the superstar backstage on the July 1st edition. Looks like this feud is just starting to heat up.

But when will fans see Malakai jump into the ring? The talent hasn’t been in action since the Double or Nothing event that took place in May.

It was then that the HOB faced The Acclaimed for AEW’s Trio Championships, where the stable retained the titles. Here’s hoping fans see him competing in the squared circle during Collision, soon.
