Depending on who you ask in professional wrestling circles, they do not come much tougher than Arn Anderson. But at the end of the day, these performers are humans, and what they do is all for the sake of the entertainment of fans.

Pro wrestling is known to have fans fight in the crowd. It makes no sense as you are taking attention away from the show and there is no need to act in such a way.

Decades ago, security was not as strict and many fans took what happened inside the ring personally. Naturally, this caused issues.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts was at The Sportatorium in Dallas on September 1992, when a fan fired three bullets at him. Roberts said all missed after Anderson asked on ARN.

Anderson continued how he was not surprised by the situation. Then, Four Horsemen member Arn Anderson recalls a scary fan stabbing him.

“There’s some people that get really overblown and wired up watching wrestling,” said Anderson. “They get consumed by it.”

“When I was working for Continental, guy reached over, cut me in the back. Thank god it wasn’t real, real deep.”

Clearly, that fan took it way too far. It is one to thing to trade verbal barbs with talent, as long as you are not using inappropriate language, and then there is getting physical.

Never touch a wrestler. That is an easy way to get banned from arenas and shows, while also getting arrested.

For now, Anderson can be spotted on AEW TV. He was heavily featured when Cody Rhodes was still there and recently worked with Wardlow. He still has time left on his contract, but no guarantee he re-signs.
