During an interview recently, Chavo Guerrero confirmed his support of his cousin Sherilyn Guerrero. Plus, the WWE may have a new rule when it comes to injury protocol.

Do Chavo Guerrero & Vickie Guerrero Talk?

As fans are aware, the Guerrero family has been suffering from controversy as of late. Sherilyn Guerrero, the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero accused Kris Benson (Vickie’s new husband) of sexual assault.

Vickie later issued a raging statement via social media against Sherilyn, noting she and her daughter have had turmoil since the young girl was 12. Vickie has since deleted this post.

During an interview with WrestleBinge, Chavo Guerrero talked about where he stands. He notes that he doesn’t talk to Vickie, especially after this incident and her response.

He states that he can’t really comment on this too much. He notes that everything going down is between Vicky and Sherilyn.

Chavo Guerrero Supports His Cousin

With that said, he makes it crystal clear that he supports Sherilyn for coming out about the allegations. Although, he doesn’t want to interject himself into what’s going on between his cousin and her mom.

Sherilyn hopped on Tik Tok in early April and posted a video about her stepfather sexually assaulting her back in 2020. According to the 27-year-old, this occurred during a cruise the family was on.

Unfortunately, her mom has sided with her husband on this. Sherilyn’s sister, Shaul later issued a statement, confirming what her sister said was true.

She also confirmed the SA was unwanted and traumatizing touching, not rape. She adds in her social media post that this incident has caused a further divide in the family.

Shaul also states the family went to therapy and both Vickie and Kris tried to get Sherilyn back on her feet. Meanwhile, Kaylie, Eddie’s other daughter also issued a statement in complete support of her sister, Sherilyn.

This is a tough situation and it’s sad to see the family in such discord. Here’s hoping they all find some peace and resolution, soon.

Over to WWE news, there seems to be a new protocol set in place for injuries within the company. More on this, below.

New Injury Rule

Since social media has come to be, wrestlers have been sharing injuries on platforms with fans. A fine example of this is Finn Balor’s posts following his Hell in a Cell (HIAC) bout at WrestleMania 39.

However, could sharing these images via social media be a thing of the past? Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer Live recently chimed in on this.

According to Bryan, there’s a new WWE rule that states stars aren’t allowed to post photos with any blood, whatsoever. He notes that the company may not want “anyone” making shirts with this type of image.

The Britt Baker Situation

Alvarez is likely poking fun at the situation with Britt Baker at AEW. Saraya would give Baker a beating with a kendo stick after Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia handcuffed Britt’s boyfriend Adam Cole to the ropes during an episode of Dynamite.

After the beatdown, Ms. Baker shared a photo of herself on social media with a black eye. Now, there’s a t-shirt with this image that is being sold.

Still, there’s probably a bigger reason why the WWE doesn’t want these images on social media. As the years go on, the company continues to limit blood during their match and promos, as much as possible.

Just this past fall, shortly after taking on the creative reigns at the WWE, Triple H, CCO said during an interview that he doesn’t think it’s (blood) is necessary. He notes “what they do” is dangerous enough.
