The WrestleMania 40 Ladder Match was finalized on SmackDown, but WWE might be making late changes to bring in some icons from the past.

In a week, WrestleMania 40 will have arrived. It is the biggest weekend of the year for WWE and pro wrestling. There are a bunch of belts being defended, including the tag titles. That match sees Finn Balor and Damian Priest take on several teams. On SmackDown, Grayson Waller & Austin Theory and Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate were the final teams to advance. Although, Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio noted how that match could see different teams involved. “By the way, even though Theory and Waller won, it is not necessarily that they’re going to be in that match,” said Meltzer. “They might be. There is a meeting upcoming where they will make a decision on that.”
It is very intersting how he zeroed in on Theory and Waller. They could easily walkout as champions, especially seeing how WWE is high on bother superstars. At the same time, they are the perfect fit for a live angle with some legends. I can see Theory and Waller complaining and boom, the music hits for Steve Austin or Undertaker. We see Theory and Waller get destroyed, leaving fans and probably everyone in the segment happy.
Card Is Shaping Up To Be Memorable
Being in a ladder match is great, but WWE likes to add surprises. Last year, we saw Snoop Dogg, Shane McMahon and Pat McAfee work matches that were not booked in advance. Now, do not look for names from the past to wrestle. Basically, a little brawl with a few finishers should be enough. And, if Austin is there, a dozen beers to top everything off.
WrestleMania 40 has the potential to be one of the better installments of the series. On paper, the matches look like fire. Now, it will be up to the producers and talent to sell everything. So, does anyone want to see the WrestleMania 40 Ladder Match undergo some late changes?
