A new report may have revealed when Saraya could make her improbable return to WWE this year.
The former WWE Divas Champion had been absent from AEW for many months. In March, Saraya revealed that she would be taking a break from wrestling and leaving Tony Khan’s company. Moreover, she teased that she would welcome a return to her former employer.
During a recent Q&A session on Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, Wrestle Votes reported that Saraya could potentially return to WWE for a major event planned this summer.
Could Saraya make WWE return at Evolution 2 event?
“Nothing [is planned] in the short term. But I’d imagine that once we get to Evolution come July, there’s a decent shot she’s a part of that. If she’s free and clear, which it seems like she is,” Wrestle Votes reported. “I’d imagine by the summer, she’ll be back. I don’t know if it’ll be full-time, part-time, or just a one-time appearance. But I’d say come Evolution, she’s got a good shot at being there.”
Saraya revealed in a recent chat with WrestleZone that she has not had any conversations with WWE since her AEW departure.
“People think I’m going back to WWE or whatever because there’s this huge rumor mill happening right now,” she said. “But I haven’t spoken to them. At least not right now. I haven’t spoken to them.”
Saraya’s comeback to WWE would be huge for her as well as the company. However, as she mentioned, her prime focus at the moment is her life outside the ring.
