It’s time for another week of SmackDown results, this time for the 6/7/24 edition. This week, we will get into fallout from the Bloodline fun, as well as AJ Styles’ attack.

Quick Results
- Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeat Indi Hartwell and Candace LeRae. Post-match, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark and Unholy Union attacked the champs. Bianca and Jade did recover and take out Unholy Union to end the segment
- Grayson Waller defeats Johnny Gargano. This week, things seem better between Waller and Theory. For now.
- LA Knight takes out Carmelo Hayes. I don’t mind Knight getting the win here, but worth noting, Hayes seems to be losing more than winning. For someone with his promise, the wins should come soon. Right?
- The Bloodline got themselves disqualified against the team of Kevin Owens and the Street Profits. Post-DQ, the Bloodline decimated the faces, putting Owens through the announce table.
Best Match of the night:
I will take the main event six man tag for one. But I really did enjoy Waller and Gargano too.
Worst match of the night:
Just at face value, the women’s tag match was nothing to write home about. Keeping in mind it set up a match for Clash at the Castle? It worked.

Solo Sikoa, the new Bloodline and Paul Heyman. They opened and closed SmackDown, and it is a good thing.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:
The Bloodline 2.0, next generation, whatever you want to call it? It works. Honestly, there were some growing pains. Probably still will be. But tonight felt good, they have the crowds really throwing heat at Solo. I have this feeling like they will bring Reigns back and, as much as we are chanting for him now? He will resume world’s biggest heel type stuff. I will probably be wrong, but who knows.
The action between Solo and Heyman is getting better and better. What we saw from them on this SmackDown was superb.
LOL Moment of the night:
“Logan Paul’s playing Tetris?! I am really good at Tetris. He could be here playing Tetris with me!” I am sure I got some of it wrong, but that was the basics, and the exchange between Knight and Adam Pearce about the wherabouts of Logan Paul was good stuff.
Noteworthy Moment:
Heyman had less issue calling Tama Tonga the right hand man, and introducing the Infamous Tonga Loa than he did thanking the newest two for “saving” him last week.
I hope that WWE doesn’t sort of kill Solo’s chances with things. Right now, fans hate him, and want Roman, and in doing so, Reigns has turned face (for now) without trying. But, Solo doesn’t suck. Just means we have to see how things go, and creatively they need to be careful, I think.
I honestly don’t pay the closest attention to everything. But while I am used to the Prime drinks being at ringside lately, the Prime logo in the ring? I thought that was PLE rings only.
Bayley against Piper Niven for the Clash makes sense. The women’s tag titles defended in a triple threat does too (hard to ignore the home grown Superstars getting big chances). Cody Rhodes grants AJ Styles his desired re-match, this time it’ll be an “I Quit” match.
Overall lowlights:
Only four matches. We had some non-wrestling segments filling that time, and that’s OK. But one more match would have been nice.
Overall highlights:
The women’s tag division hasn’t always been done properly, I don’t think. But, tonight, I felt really good with how things were done. You’ve got some decent depth and a lot of options. Lots to be excited about, I think.
After the final bell:
The Clash lineup is shaping up nicely, and I have to give WWE credit. You have a number of Superstars who call that part of the world their birthplace. Names like Drew McIntyre get big shots, and he’s on the card. But so too are Piper Niven, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. It’s nice, and none feel overly forced either. If anything, I’d say that these opportunities for the three women are overdue.
