Best Match of the night:

I have to go with Breakker-Dragunov. And I loved how Cole pointed out that these two young Superstars are two of just three who’ve defeated GUNTHER since he landed in WWE (the other being Sami Zayn). That is a great way to remind fans that these two are legit threats to just about anyone on the roster, considering the greatness of King GUNTHER.

Worst match of the night:

Nothing to complain about tonight.

Crowd Chants of the Night:

Star of the Night

Bron Breakker was booked as a stud, still. Dragunov, even in defeat, was too. I also liked what we got out of Lyra Valkyria and IYO SKY.

Spot of the Night:

Might as well give this shot a nod.

Jobber of the Night:

If indeed he’s done with WWE, then I give Ricochet this one, but as an honor. Assuming he has indeed given notice, and that there is no changing his mind, he could have just bailed. Might have burned bridges, but if he knows he has a bag of Tony Khan cash waiting, would it matter? But, if he is exiting, he still came to the office and did what was asked of him, which included a couple sick bumps in the back. I mean, did you hear the smack on the concrete after Bron used him as a dart?

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

WWE is really getting ready for the Netflix era. Content, whether you like it or not, is getting edgier.

Maybe not quite the “sorry you want to sign with AEW so we bury you and write you off” beating I expected. But, Ricochet got in some decent offense and saved Ilja at ringside. And started to in the back, before Bron used him as a lawn dart (a la Rey in WCW) into the semi, and then a power slam onto the hood and windshield.

I suppose he could have just said no dice and walked away. I mean, what would they do, fire him? He did the job on the way out, if he is indeed definitely gone.

LOL Moment of the night:

Truth saw a fortune teller-Scarlett. He thought they’d gotten a match with APA. It was AOP. He saw unicorns, but got the death card. He stared death in the face when he tried to hit one with the title belt, but then Xavier and Kofi (with Woods wearing a unicorn shirt) made the run-in. Fun stuff as always.

Also, if it was there before I never noticed, but how about the Rey action figure with the hand written card of “Dead Beat Dad”.

Noteworthy Moment:

We’ve heard for the last 72 hours or so that, barring a miracle, Ricochet is leaving WWE imminently. We also heard, leading up to tonight’s show, that WWE was writing him off television tonight. And before the Dragunov/Breakker match, he promise Ilja that he’d have his back and he wanted to go another round with the Mad Dragon. But, the possibly departing Superstar seemed a bit down about it, perhaps because of that pending exit.

And then we saw what happened…

IYO SKY kind of sort of snapped, both after the match and in the back, saying “Damage CTRL needs to change”.

Overall lowlights:

I really am hoping he has a change of heart, but I don’t blame him-or anyone-betting on themselves. So if that’s the end of this run in WWE for Ricochet? Sucks, but so be it. Nice touch to have Samantha Irvin in the ambulance with him, and McAfee do the final match ring announcing.

Overall highlights:

Breakker is as dominant a force as we’ve seen since say, a motivated and pissed off Brock Lesnar. Hard to not think he’s getting that level of push, with some thinking he is a direct replacement for the exiled Superstar.

After the final bell:

For RAW, the final hype is done. Ricochet is as good as gone, probably, and now we await the Clash at the Castle.
